You thought I’d given up on this blogging lark there didn’t you. Sorry I vanished, lots of work got in the way. Am back now but it’s not quite normal service as away from an actual computer for a bit so going to be blogging via the app. So for the next few weeks, excuse all typos, fingers slightly too fat for the keyboard and it may get messy.
In good news for the time pressed though, I will also (mostly) be keeping posts short. In fact, the theme for the next few weeks is useful nuggets of info rather than inane ramblings of the bored and verbose.
Today’s one comes from a piece I wrote in last month’s Red mag (yes, I know I should have posted this which it was out and you can read the whole thing but……). It was on the most truthful advice for health experts and amongst others I interviewed London dentist Ogo Eze. As well as lots of other fab tips, she said this……
You wouldn’t not clean your teeth for a day, a week, a month or more, but if you don’t floss that’s effectively what you’re doing.
Hmmmm, put like that it’s pretty disgusting not to do it isn’t it? Yes, I know it’s a faff but with latest research suggesting bacteria in the mouth may somehow be linked to tumour formation, not to mention heart disease, premature birth and possibly even weight gain, floss needs to be your friend.
