How to Build the Perfect Salad – It’s Filling, Tasty and Good For You

There’s not many new year diet books that leave you wanting to jump about in the sea smiling like herself below but the new book by personal trainer Dalton Wong and health journalist Kate Faithfull-Williams will.

It’s not called The Feelgood Plan for nothing you know.

I admit Dalton is one of my fave celeb trainers.

Not only does he really know his stuff, but he’s also super nice and down-to-earth (trust me, I could name a few celeb trainers with egos as big as their biceps) and that easy-going feel comes across in the book.

It’s not preachy or naggy and I really like the fact that addresses the fact that while most of us know what to do to be fit and healthy, getting your head in gear to do it is the tricky part and gives heaps of tips to help with that.

It also doesn’t ask you to absolutely change your life TODAY.

Instead, the premise is that just by doing something good for you for 15 minutes every day, you start to build healthy habits that do change you from top to toe.

However, what I like most about the book though is that it’s just so easy to read.

There’s quizzes, charts, lovely pictures and infographics that give you heaps of information without boring you senseless – like the one below. Who knew telling someone how to build the perfect salad could be so simple….?
